In 2020, IndieMe pioneered the first handcrafted Virtual show, responding swiftly to find innovative ways to support both artists and buyers amidst unprecedented times. Unable to conduct in-person events, we transitioned and created a trade show to the online realm.

The IndieMe Virtual Expo has continued to flourish, recognizing that the success of our members is intertwined with the success of the Expo. Numerous retailers have expressed that it is precisely what the industry needs. We are thrilled to announce our 9th Virtual Expo taking place from February 14-20, 2024.

How does a Virtual Expo Differ from everyday IndieMe Shopping?

The Virtual Expo spans a week and serves as a unique "event" where participating artists entice buyers with incentives such as show specials, free shipping, and the unveiling of new products. Throughout this week-long affair, IndieMe will conduct buyer giveaways, entering those who place Expo orders into daily drawings for prizes like gift cards and exquisite items contributed by participating artists.

During the Virtual Expo, buyers can log in to the IndieMe Marketplace as usual. They have the option to shop in their regular IndieMe fashion or take a virtual stroll through the Expo by clicking on the dedicated Virtual Expo link. Once in the Virtual Expo, buyers can exclusively shop from participating Expo artists. The familiar actions of saving to wish lists, adding to carts, and placing orders will all seamlessly proceed, facilitated by a robust, visually appealing, and user-friendly platform.
