Jacqueline Adamany, IndieMe Marketplace, LLC owner explains, “IndieMe created the first handcrafted Virtual show in 2020 to support both the retailer and the artist. As the year 2020 began to unfold, it became noticeably clear that in-person shows would be shutting down and we needed to find a way to replicate that virtually. We believe we have done that with our Virtual Expo. Our most recent September 2022 expo grew by 150% from our first expo in June 2020. Many of our retailers keep telling us it is “just what the industry needed.” We are excited to announce the 7th IndieMe Marketplace Virtual Expo, February 8-14, 2023.
The expertise and industry-specific knowledge provided by IndieMe Marketplace, LLC, positions the company for the concept of a Virtual Expo. “We want to offer the option to stay home and shop during a trade show without the added expense of travel. The Virtual Expo is structured like a traditional trade show: show specials by participating artists, giveaways, and credits to buyers,” shares Jaqueline. Artisan Food and The Spa Marketplaces
The IndieMe Marketplace continues to create resources for the handcrafted, wholesale industry by developing two new marketplaces powered by IndieMe. The Artisan Food Marketplace features artists who create small batch, handcrafted foods using non-industrialized methods, using recipes handed down through generations.
The Spa Marketplace features all-natural handcrafted lotions, oils, soaps, candles, and more. A marketplace where small business owners can shop wellness, relaxation, health, bath, and body products 24/7.
25th Anniversary
The IndieMe Marketplace will be celebrating 25 years in the handcrafted wholesale industry developing industry-specific resources and solutions, marketing, and managing their family of online platforms.
IndieMe is the premiere online wholesale marketplace for retailers to source over 250,000 handcrafted products from juried American and Canadian wholesale artists. The platform features only 100% handcrafted items including, ceramics, jewelry, glass, home décor, sculptures, fiber, artisan food, and much more. Enrollment is free for retailers. IndieMe does not take a commission on any sales. Instead, the artist pays a low monthly web fee.
